Getting started
Can I try it for free?
Yes. Everyone can convert 3 pages a day for free, without an account. The count starts again at midnight UTC. A file with more than 3 pages needs bought pages.
Which files work?
PDF, JPG, PNG and WebP, up to 100 pages and 5 MB per file. Digital PDFs, scans and phone photos of a page all work. Not sure what kind of PDF you have? Check it free in your browser.
What do I get back?
Each table shown in a preview, with anything doubtful flagged: a Total row that does not add up, text in a column of amounts, rows with the wrong number of cells, or a reading the AI was unsure of. You can then download each table as an Excel (XLSX) or CSV file. See what the CSV looks like.
Your account
How do I sign in?
Enter your email address in the app. We email you a sign-in link; there is no password. The link works once and expires after 15 minutes. You then stay signed in on that browser for 30 days.
The sign-in email did not arrive
Check your spam or junk folder for a message from Aoken Extract. If the link has expired, ask for a new one in the app. Still nothing after a few minutes? Email us from the same address.
Buying and using pages
How do I buy pages?
Sign in, choose a pack in the app and pay on the Dodo Payments checkout page. Dodo Payments is our merchant of record: it takes the payment, adds any tax and emails you the receipt. See pricing.
I paid but my pages are not there
Pages are added once Dodo Payments confirms the payment. Reload the app while signed in to the account you bought them from. If they still do not show, email us with the receipt from Dodo Payments and we will add them.
How are pages counted?
One page of a PDF, or one image file, is one page. When you are signed in and your balance covers the whole file, the file uses bought pages. Otherwise a file of up to 3 pages uses your free pages for the day. Pages never expire.
What if a conversion fails?
If the document cannot be read, you see an error and the pages are returned at once, bought or free. If a table is wrong in a way the checks missed, email us within 7 days with the date and the file name, and we return those pages.
Refunds
Within 14 days of buying a pack, you can ask for a refund of the pages you have not used, for any reason. Email us from the address on your account, or reply to the receipt from Dodo Payments. Refunds go back to the original payment method. The full rules are in the refund policy.
Your documents
Your files and results are deleted within 24 hours, and they are never used to train AI models. An AI model reads each page to find the tables. Details are in the privacy policy.
Error messages
“The file does not match its type”
The file's contents are not the format its name says. Save or export it again as a PDF or image.
“Could not count the pages of this PDF”
The PDF is damaged or stored in a form we cannot read. Print it to a new PDF, or take a photo or screenshot of each page.
“You have used your free pages for today”
Come back after midnight UTC, or sign in and buy pages to go on now.
“The daily AI budget is used up”
Free conversions have a daily budget for everyone together. When it runs out, free use pauses until midnight UTC. Bought pages are not affected.
“Too many unfinished checkouts”
You have started several payments without finishing them. Finish one, or wait for them to expire.
